Students who plan to start a career in human resources and management after graduation are encouraged to apply to the Carl Iberger Scholarship fund for a chance to win $1,000 towards tuition, which will be awarded to a single university or high school student who wins our essay contest.

Scholarship Overview

Carl has spent many years in business from all levels up to C-Level positions and now he would like the opportunity to give back to the next generation of business professionals who will help improve business processes for their company in the future.

Criteria

To apply, be a current business undergraduate student at a university in the United States or High School students that will attend university for a business degree.

The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition.  One winner will be selected based on a creative essay of under 1000 words answering the following:  

“From talent acquisition to labor relations, HR teams are central to finding and retaining the talent a business needs to achieve its objectives.  How would you use your educational emphasis in Human Resource and Business Management to drive innovation and change in the workplace?”

Amount

One time award of $1,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 15, 2022.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced January 15, 2023.

How to Apply

Applicant should email their response to the essay question “From talent acquisition to labor relations, HR teams are central to finding and retaining the talent a business needs to achieve its objectives.  How would you use your educational emphasis in Human Resource and Business Management to drive innovation and change in the workplace?” in Word Doc format to [email protected].
